Clear Path International Releases Mine Action Benefit Compact DiscBureau of Political-Military Affairs, Office of Weapons Removal and AbatementWashington, DC July 25, 2005 Clear Path International (CPI) has recently joined forces with a number of great artists and friends to launch a Benefit compact disc (CD) to support humanitarian mine action. The CD features popular artists such as Natalie Merchant, Juliana Hatfield, and Jorma Kaukonen, and will be used to raise funds towards CPI’s work in Vietnam and other parts of Asia. Clear Path International is one of the Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement’s over 50 public-private partners that support humanitarian mine action (landmine and unexploded ordnance clearance, mine risk education, mine survivors assistance).
