Overview:
The ZIP data files consist of Wilderness Areas in a compressed E00 and a compressed shapefile. There are also metadata files (a detail description) of each data layer. These metadata files have a .html extension. They can be opened with any browser. The E00 files are all georeferenced in UTM zones 12, 13 and 14, with a DATUM of NAD 27. Some zipped E00 files also include a Decimal Degree, NAD 83 version. The shapefiles are in Decimal Degrees, with a DATUM of NAD 83.
