Moudawana Theater

Morocco

The Association Joussour, a Moroccan NGO, in collaboration with the Aquarium Theater dramatizes changes to Moroccan family law in a lively and humorous play presented throughout the country.  The performances were given during the second half of 2004. A MEPI small grant funded through the U.S. Embassy, underwrote this theatrical interpretation of the changes in the law and their beneficial impact in society, an example of MEPI partnering local home-grown reform efforts.
