Diplomats in Action: Relief Operations to Tsunami Victims

Deputy Public Affairs Officer Chris Wurst organized a series of Consulate-wide volunteer opportunities with the Association for India’s Development and the Bhoomika Trust, two highly regarded NGOs. From December 30 to January 2, volunteers throughout the Consulate community helped sort and pack clothing, food items and household items immediately headed for areas which experienced great devastation in Cuddalore, Nagappattinam and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
