FY 2002 Accomplishments
- 79% of adults in training programs were placed in jobs with increased earnings
- 90% of Job Corps graduates obtained jobs
- A record $690 million in assets were restored to employee pension plans
- $140 million in assets were restored to employee health plans
- Fatalities in the Construction Industry declined by nearly 10%
- Fatalities at an all-time low in the mining industry
- Rescued 9 miners at the Que Creek mine in Pennsylvania
