Addressing the Nuclear Threat
On April 5, 2009, in Prague, President Obama presented an ambitious three-part strategy to address the international nuclear threat. On July 8, the G8 leaders endorsed that strategy during the L’Aquila Summit. Furthermore the President formally announced his plan to host a Global Nuclear Security Summit in March 2010.
