Ambassadors in Action - Ambassador to India David C. Mulford

Ambassador David C. Mulford met today with a team of Indian freshmen engineering and high school students, ages 14 to 18 years, to discuss their award-winning proposal for a space colony and upcoming trip to the United States. The Indian team was invited to join 7 American high school teams to compete in a NASA Space Settlement Design Competition at the Kennedy Space Center July 17-19, 2004. This competition was organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics to encourage excellence in space science and is sponsored by NASA and Boeing. State Department Photo.
