Secretary Rice hosted Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs Alexander Downer, MP, in California on May 23-24, 2007. The Secretary and Foreign Minister visited the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library and Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. They also visited the San Francisco Bay Area to participate in events highlighting the innovation and technology of "Silicon Valley."
