President's Volunteer Service Awards Available Free of Charge for VIPS Volunteers
Citizen Corps has partnered with the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation to provide 10,000 Presidential Volunteer Service Awards free of charge to Citizen Corps Councils and Citizen Corps partner programs, including local VIPS programs.
Registered VIPS programs have been pre-registered to be official Certifying Organizations. Please note that, although the awards are free of charge, programs are responsible for shipping and handling costs. Click here for more information.

Over 50 new items have been added to the VIPS Resource Library. The VIPS Resource Library provides sample documents, including application forms, policies, procedures and volunteer handbooks, from registered programs throughout the country.

The VIPS Program is pleased to announce that the format of the VIPS in the News e-newsletter has been modified to provide you with real time access to news stories highlighting local law enforcement volunteer programs and to better connect the story to the agency.
