Description Of Services
PHILADELPHIA: ACANA was founded in 1999 to help refugee and immigrant families--particularly women, children, youth and the elderly--access health, social, and cultural benefits during their resettlement in the Philadelphia area. With the grant, ACANA partners with CareerLink (PA's One-Stop) to provide One-Stop services to ACANA's target population. The agency provides life-skills training, employability training, ABE classes, support services, and job placement.
