Fabrication Designs, Inc. (FDI) - 2008

The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization is proud to announce that Fabrication Designs, Inc. (FDI) is the recipient of the 14th Annual Department of State Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year Award.  The Assistant Secretary for Administration will present the award on October 23 to Mr. Keith Eustace, CEO of FDI.

FDI manufactured and provided the highest quality Forced-Entry/Ballistic-Resistant (FEBR) windows and doors for U.S. Embassies under a contract with the Department.  Their products provide protection to the Department's employees at over one hundred U.S. Embassy and Consulate facilities worldwide.  FDI provided FEBR security products for new U.S. Embassies in some of the most challenging working environments in the world, including Baghdad, Kabul, Karachi, Nouakchott, and Chisinau.

The following small business firms will also receive Awards for Excellence:  Price Consulting, Inc., , CP Leasing, Inc., Buchanan and Edwards, Inc., and Value Management Strategies, Inc.

The Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year Award, sponsored by the Assistant Secretary for Administration, gives recognition to small business contractors who have displayed exemplary performance, customer service, management and technical capabilities.  The winning contractor was chosen by a five-person panel.
