OASAM Strategic and Performance Plan: 2006-2010

The OASAM Strategic and Performance Plan: 2006 - 2010 [PDF HTML] represents a months-long effort to more accurately capture and update the OASAM mission and vision. This Plan will serve to guide Departmental efforts over the next several years - allowing OASAM to measure and track its performance to ensure that customers' needs and expectations are met.

Under the leadership of Secretary Elaine L. Chao, the Department of Labor continues to make a positive difference in the day-to-day lives of America's working families. And from implementation of the President's Management Agenda - to providing effective Departmental leadership and oversight in its many areas of responsibility - OASAM is leading the way.

Mission Statement: OASAM provides the infrastructure and support that enables the Department of Labor to perform its mission. OASAM provides leadership and support for Departmental business operations and procurement; budget and finance; information technology; human resources and civil rights; security and emergency management; and strategic planning - and is the hub for DOL's implementation of the President's Management Agenda.
