  • A number is perfect if its factors (excluding the number itself) sum to the number itself. The first perfect number is 6 because its factors of 1, 2, and 3 (excluding 6) give a sum of 6. The next perfect number is 28 because 1 + 2 + 4 + 7 + 14 = 28. What is the next perfect number? HINT - - It has 3 digits.
