MISSION:
The Security Center provides Departmental leadership on all
matters of information, personnel, and physical security. Charged with overall
management, the Director of the Security Center is responsible for the
Department of Labor's security program and for the physical protection and
safeguarding of DOL Headquarters, Regional and Field offices, and DOL owned
facilities. The Center ensures implementation of security policy and plans,
continuity of resources, and the protection of agency employees, assets,
personal property, and sensitive/classified information.
