Secretary Rice's Visit to Russia


Moscow, Russia
June 28, 2006

Secretary Rice traveled to Moscow for the Group of 8 G-8 ministerial meeting. The foreign ministers' discussions are part of the preparations for the G-8 summit in St. Petersburg in July, which will focus on cooperation in the areas of energy security, infectious diseases and education. While in Moscow, the Secretary will hold a number of bilateral discussions with Russian officials.
