SECRETARY RICE:  I think it’s quite unfortunate that the MDC decided not to contest. We fully understand. And we and the international community, yesterday with the UN Security Council, have called on the Government of Zimbabwe to stop the violence against the opposition, to give the Zimbabwean people a chance to form a decent government that would be a legitimate government that would represent them all. And I think the international community has spoken very strongly yesterday, and we’ll follow very closely. Thank you.

QUESTION: How do you move forward now?

SECRETARY RICE: Thank you.

QUESTION: Thank you.
