The OSHA Challenge Pilot Program Administrator's Quarterly Meeting was held in Washington, D.C. on June 22, 2005.Highlights of the meeting included Administrator and OSHA updates, Participant presentations, and the awarding of Challenge Completion Letters to two Challenge Participants, who are the first graduates of the pilot program.

OSHA Challenge was launched in May 2004, and provides participants who are interested in pursuing VPP a roadmap to improve safety and health performance. Challenge consists of two tracks—construction and general industry—and three stages. At each stage, certain actions, outcomes and documentation are required that meet VPP criteria. Once a site has progressed through the stages, Participants should be ready to apply for VPP.
