The following steps should be used for all requests for new second level .GOV domain names to be sponsored by The Department of the Interior, its Bureaus and Offices.

*** Please note, there is a charge for the registration and maintenance second level .GOV domains $125.00. ***

1. Register the new second level .GOV at http://www.dotgov.gov
2. Complete the attached Domain Request Sample Template
3. E-mail the request to the DOI Chief Information Officer.
