The former Charlevoix National Fish Hatchery building in Charlevoix, Michigan in 1962.  The building has been used by the US Coast Guard and is currently owned by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources as the Charlevoix Fisheries Research Station.

Bud Mundsack of Genoa National Fish Hatchery in Wisconsin empties a hoop net during the spring spawning run on the upper Mississippi River.  The cool water hatchery production program (walleye and northern pike) is dependent on wild brood stock. (03/1986) .
