Presidential Delegation to Attend Inauguration of His Excellency Sidi Mohamed Ould Cheikh Abdallahi, President-elect of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania

President George W. Bush today announced the designation of a Presidential Delegation to attend the inauguration of His Excellency Sidi Mohamed Ould Cheikh Abdallahi, President-elect of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania on April 19, 2007.

The Honorable John D. Negroponte, Deputy Secretary of State, will lead the delegation.

General William E. Ward, Deputy Commander, United States European Command
