NACOSH PUBLIC MEETING SET FOR MARCH 12-13 IN WASHINGTON, DC

The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (NACOSH) will meet in Washington, D.C., on March 12-13, to discuss OSHA and NIOSH activities.

The public meeting will be held in Room N-3437 of the Department of Labor Frances Perkins Building, 200 Constitution Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC 20210. The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 1:00 p.m. on March 12 and last until approximately 5:00 p.m. The meeting will reconvene on March 13 at 9:00 a.m. and end at approximately 4:00 p.m.

NACOSH was established under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 to advise the secretaries of labor and health and human services on occupational safety and health programs. Members of the 12-person advisory committee are chosen on the basis of their knowledge and experience in occupational safety and health.

Written data, views or comments for consideration by the committee may be submitted, preferably with 20 copies, to Vivian Allen, OSHA, Room N-3641, 200 Constitution Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C., 20210. Twenty copies are requested. Submissions received prior to the meeting will be included in the record. For more information, Ms. Allen can be reached at (202) 693-1935.
