Under Secretary of State R. Nicholas Burns and Haitian Foreign Minister Jean-Raynald Clerisme to Brief the Press Following Meeting of Haiti Contact Group

Under Secretary of State R. Nicholas Burns and Haitian Foreign Minister Jean-Raynald Clerisme will brief the press on the Haiti Contact Group meeting on Thursday, February 1, at 4:45 p.m. in the State Department Press Briefing Room. Under Secretary Burns will announce a new program for Haiti. This briefing is ON-THE-RECORD and ON-CAMERA.

Media representatives who plan to attend this briefing but do not have a State Department building pass must enter through the C Street entrance of the State Department building by 4:30 p.m.

Attendees must present one of the following press credentials: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver's license or passport).
