Assistant Secretary of State Ellen Sauerbrey to Speak at Georgetown University on the U.S. Response to the Needs of Refugees and Migrants

The Honorable Ellen Sauerbrey, Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees and Migration, will talk about America's response to the needs of refugees and migrant families around the world in a speech marking the Vatican's 93rd World Day of Migrants and Refugees. A question and answer period with the audience will follow the lecture.

The event will be held on Friday, January 12, 2007 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Copley Formal Lounge at Georgetown University, 37th & O Streets NW, Washington, D.C. 20057.

Three Georgetown University organizations are sponsoring the event: The Office of the President, The Institute for the Study of International Migration and the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs.
