Meeting of the Secretary’s Advisory Committee on Transformational Diplomacy

The Secretary’s Advisory Committee on Transformational Diplomacy will meet on Wednesday, July 11, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:20 a.m., in Room 7516 of the United States Department of State, 2201 C Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. The meeting will be open to the public up to the capacity of the meeting room from 8:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., followed by a closed session from 10:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Participants at the meeting will review the progress of their working groups on Transformational Diplomacy, Workforce and Training, State Department in 2025, Private Sector Partnerships, and IT Transformation. They will also discuss the draft report on recommendations to be submitted to the Secretary upon completion.

Entry to the building is controlled and will be facilitated by advance arrangements. Members of the public who wish to attend the session should, by Friday, July 6, 2007, notify the Office of Management Policy (telephone: 202-647-0093) providing their name, date of birth; citizenship; ID number, i.e., U.S. government ID (agency), U.S. military ID (branch), passport (country) or driver’s license (state); professional affiliation, address and telephone number in order to arrange admittance. All attendees must use the C Street entrance. One of the following valid IDs will be required for admittance: any U.S. driver’s license with photo, a passport, or a U.S. government agency ID. Attendees should expect to remain in the meeting for the entire open session.
