Meetings with Taiwan Affairs Office

Question: What can you tell us about Taiwan Affairs Office Director Chen Yunlin's meeting Under Secretary for Political Affairs Marc Grossman on February 2?

Answer: Mr. Grossman met with Taiwan Affairs Office Director Chen Yunlin for 30 minutes on February 2. The two had an in-depth discussion on cross-straits issues. Mr. Grossman reaffirmed our commitment to the three communiques and the Taiwan Relations Act.
