CHINA: U.S. Citizen Arrested

Question:   What details can you provide on the arrest of David Ji in China today?   What was he arrested for?

Answer:   The U.S. Consulate General in Chengdu, China has confirmed the arrest of David Long Fen Ji. Consular officials in Chengdu requested and were allowed consular access to this U.S. citizen. We do not have permission, in the form of a Privacy Act Waiver, to release further information about Mr. Ji.
