  • July 2 - Steven Minkkinen, Project Leader for the Maryland Fishery Resources Office of the Fish and Wildlife Service, will talk about his work to protect and restore the Potomac River especially his work with the invading Snakehead fish.

  • July 16 (2:00pm) - Training Session at the Interior Library: Useful Federal Resources on the Internet.

August 2008
  • August 6 (2:00pm) - Training Session at the Interior Library: Advanced Legal Research on LexisNexis.
  • August 6 - Interior Museum - Mary Pfaffko, DC Department of Environment, Fisheries and Wildlife Division, will talk about the DC Wildlife Action Plan, a proactive plan to conserve wildlife and habitat in the District of Columbia.
  • August 16 - The museum is open from 1 to 4 pm on the third Saturday of every month except for all Federal Holidays.
  • August 19 (1:00 pm – 1:45 pm) - Park Ranger Speaker Series at the Interior Library: Federal Triangle.
  • August 20 (10:00am) - Training Session at the Interior Library: Compiling a Federal Legislative History: A Step-by-Step Example.
September 2008
  • September 3 - (10:00 am -11:00 am) - Interior Museum - Judd Patterson, Photographer, in conjunction with A Sea of Tallgrass: the Konza Prairie exhibit, will talk about the Konza Prairie and his photography.
  • September 9 - (9:30 am – 11:30 am and 1:30pm to 3:30pm) - DOI Library Open House.
  • September 16 - (1:00 pm – 1:45 pm) - Park Ranger Speaker Series at the Interior Library: Arlington House & Cemetery.
  • September 19 - (10:00 am - 12:00 pm)
    • Training Session at the Interior Library: Advanced Legal Research on Westlaw.
    • World Heritage Sites in the USA: A Thirtieth Anniversary Celebration exhibition of photography opens to the public.
  • September 20 - The museum is open from 1 to 4 pm on the third Saturday of every month except for all Federal Holidays.
  • September 23 - (5:30 pm – 7:00 pm) - Opening event for the photography exhibition World Heritage Sites in the USA: A Thirtieth Anniversary Celebration.
  • September 30 - (10:00 am - 12:00 pm) - Training Session at the Interior Library: ProQuest's National Newspapers Collection: Introduction and New Features.
