January 2008
  •  January 2 Interior Museum: Mary Byrne from Seeds of Success – an effort to collect native seeds to assist localities with re-seeding after fires and other disasters.
  • January 19 – The Interior Museum is open from 1 to 4 pm on the third Saturday of every month except for all Federal Holidays.
February 2008
  • February 6Interior Museum: Marissa Vigneau from Bryn Mawr College will discuss of the murals of the Main Interior Building, in particular the monumental mural: Construction of a Dam by William Gropper.
  • February 16 - The Interior Museum presents Pamela Scott, author, scholar, and curator for the history of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial for a gallery talk at 2 pm.  In conjunction with the exhibition: Vietnam Veterans Memorial: America Responds, Ms. Scott will discuss the emotionally charged creation of our most visited national memorial.
  • February 19 (1:00 pm - 1:45 pm) - Park Ranger Speaker Series at the Interior Library: The Mary McLeod Bethune Council House.
  • February 20 (2:00 pm - 4:00 pm) - Training Session at the Interior Library: EBSCOHost Electronic Journals Service: Introduction and New Features
March 2008
  •  March 5 – Dr. Brett Wolfe from U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will discuss DOI’s efforts to save coral reefs and what individuals can do, even locally, to help protect them.
  •  March 5 (2:00 pm) - Training Session at the Interior Library: Lexis Nexis: Introduction and New Features
