Reports to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child

The United States is a party to two Optional Protocols to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, both of which have reporting requirements. The first report was prepared pursuant to Article 8 of the Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflict. The second report was prepared pursuant to Article 12 of the Optional Protocol on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography.  Below are initial reports submitted by the United States to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child concerning optional protocols to the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
