SPECIAL BRIEFINGS:

10:30 a.m.   Representatives from the Provincial Reconstruction Team in Baghdad will brief reporters at the Department of State via digital satellite video conference on reconstruction progress in Iraq.  Thomas F. Burke, Jr., Provincial Reconstruction Team (Embedded) Baghdad 5 Team Leader, and Col. Paul E. Funk II, Commander of the 1st "Iron Horse" Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, will discuss current activities taking place in Baghdad. The video feed of the briefing will be of broadcast quality, barring technical difficulties. This will be an on-the-record, on-camera briefing and will take place in the State Department’s Press Briefing Room (2209).
