SPECIAL BRIEFING:

9:00 a.m. Assistant Secretary for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Lorne Craner and Acting Assistant Secretary for Western Hemisphere Affairs Curt Struble will brief the press on camera, on the record, on the grant to the Sabre Foundation, for the purpose of sending Spanish-language children’s books donated by the U.S. publishers and other sources to Cuban children.  The Briefing will be held in the State Department Press Briefing Room (Room 2209).  Press attending should arrive at the 23rd street entrance by 8:45 a.m.
