FEDERAL, LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS TO HOLD MEDIA AVAILABILITY ON SEARCH AND RENDER-SAFE OPERATIONS IN NORTH CAROLINA
WASHINGTON, DC - Representatives of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and state and local law enforcement agencies will hold a media availability to discuss the recent search and render-safe operations in Western North Carolina that led to the discovery and disposal of more than 250 pounds of explosives hidden in that area by Eric Robert Rudolph.
