WASHINGTON, DC - Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales will deliver remarks at the National Missing Children’s Day Awards Ceremony on FRIDAY, MAY 20, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. EDT. He will join other Department of Justice officials to honor law enforcement officers and citizens for their excellent work in helping to find missing children and to help prevent child sexual exploitation.

National Missing Children’s Awards will be awarded to law enforcement from Philadelphia, Missouri and Oregon.

National Exploited Children’s Awards will be awarded to law enforcement from North Carolina, Oklahoma, New Jersey and Florida.

AMBER Alert Citizen Award will be awarded to a citizen from Arkansas.
