The Job Accommodation Network (JAN), a service of the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), promotes the employment and retention of workers with disabilities by providing employers, service providers, people with disabilities and other interested parties with information on job accommodations, self-employment and small business opportunities and related subjects. It also provides information about employer and employee rights and responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act, including guidance on how the law affects employees with a history of alcoholism and drug addiction.
