UNITED STATES MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMY AT KINGS POINT, NY

There may be enrolled, at any one time, at least one qualified student each from the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and the Marshall Islands in the United States Merchant Marine Academy pursuant to Title 46 U.S. Code, Section 1295(b)(6). For more details please refer to the above-referenced U.S. Code section and Section 342 of the Compact of Free Association as amended in 2003.

Any FSM or Marshall Islands citizens interested in applying for admission to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at King's Point are advised to contact the American Embassy in their home capital. All U.S. non-citizen nationals and U.S. citizen nationals resident in American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands or the United States Virgin Islands are eligible to apply to any of the service academies and follow the regular admissions requirements.
