| Media Note Office of the Spokesman Washington, DC March 11, 2005 Report to Congress on North Korean Refugees Now Available OnlineOn February 22, the State Department submitted to Congress a report required by Section 301 of the North Korean Human Rights Act of 2004. The full report, which provides an assessment of the circumstances facing North Korean refugees and an explanation of U.S. policy towards North Korean nationals outside North Korea, is now available online at www.state.gov/g/prm. The report is the first of several that will be submitted to Congress in accordance with the North Korean Human Rights Act.
