7/15/93 U.S. v. Daniel Milikowsky and MACC Holding Corp.
Criminal No.: 93-340 (E.D. Pa.)

One-count indictment was filed charging MACC Holding Corp., formerly Mid Atlantic Container Corp. of Linden, New Jersey, and Daniel Milikowsky, former chairman and co-owner of Mid Atlantic, with fixing the prices, in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, of new steel drums offered for sale to customers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern United States. Steel drums are used most frequently for packaging chemical and petroleum products.

 

7/15/93 U.S. v. Kelly B. Longbotham
Criminal No.: C-93-153 (S.D. Tex.)

Two-count indictment was filed charging Kelly B. Longbotham, former general sales manager for Borden, Inc. in Corpus Christi, Texas, with rigging bids, in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, for the award and performance of contracts to supply fluid milk to public school districts in South Texas. Longbotham was also charged with conspiring to commit mail fraud (18 U.S.C. § 371) in connection with the bid rigging scheme.
