Under Secretary Sheeran Shiner Presents Certificates to USTTI Graduates

Under Secretary Sheeran Shiner presenting certificates on November 30, 2005 to Malalai Hiela Safi and Ogai Ahmadi of Afghanistan as the 7000th and 7001st graduates of the U.S. Telecommunications Training Institute (USTTI). They are joined by U.S. Coordinator for International Communications and Information Policy Amb. David Gross (r.) and Michael Gardner, USTTI Chairman (l.). The USTTI is a joint venture of the U.S. Government and information technology industry. The two Afghan women will assume positions as instructors for other women at Cisco's information technology training facility in Kabul. State Department photo.
