Key Number Searching

When using Westlaw, you can use key numbers as search terms to locate cases similar to your relevant topic and key number. For example, the search "101k53" retrieves all cases classified under topic 101, Corporations, and key number 53, Constitution and By-Laws. Simply type the topic and key number as your search term in the database of your choice. From there, you can further refine your search by adding terms and/or connectors. For example, "101k53 /p amendment" will retrieve cases in which the term amendment appears in the headnotes under 101K53.
