Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice traveled to Haiti on September 27, 2005. She met with leaders of Haiti’s interim government, as well as with representatives of the United Nations Stabilization Mission In Haiti (MINUSTAH). Her visit underscores U.S. support for Haiti’s upcoming elections and its ongoing process of political and economic reform.
