It is the policy of the Office of the Inspector General, Department of Defense (OIG, DoD), to promote public trust by providing the public with the maximum amount of accurate and timely information concerning its activities, consistent with the need for security and adherence to other requirements of the law. As such, the Freedom of Information Act Requester Service Center/Privacy Act (FOIA/PA) Office, implements and administers the FOIA/PA program throughout the OIG.
