2008 Teaching Ambassador Fellowship Summit

The Department of Education’s first Teaching Ambassador Fellows visited Washington, D.C., on July 14 to prepare for their fellowship year with an orientation and policy conference. The events included a roundtable discussion with Secretary Spellings, an informal dialogue with First Lady Laura Bush, briefings with senior Department officials on timely policy matters and opportunities to share best practices and local educational challenges.
