617/424-5715WASHINGTON, D.C. -- CRS will cosponsor with Northeastern University a conference on "Race Relations on New England Campuses: Meeting the Challenge" on November 15-16, 2001, to be held at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
This will be a two-day conference that will unite leaders and professionals from more than 60 campuses across New England to discuss racial and ethnic issues, share best practices to improve race relations, and examine actual situations from various colleges and universities. The conference is a regional conversation designed to promote positive race relations and institution-wide changes at colleges and universities, with a special emphasis on racial and ethnic tensions to the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks on September 11, 2001.
