GSA’s USASearch.gov has a powerful governmentwide Internet search capability and offers this search index service free to government agencies through its USASearch.gov Affiliate Program. USASearch.gov searches all federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial websites to provide simplified, structured results to the contents of more than 50 million government documents. The search engine fields nearly 4 million search queries a month and offers many features, including government images, news feeds, weather, maps, government per diem rates, frequently asked questions, and more.

USASearch.gov’s new Affiliate Program allows web managers to configure their own search engine based on the USASearch.gov platform through a simple administrative interface where they can enable/disable the USASearch.gov features that best fit the needs of their search engine.  Additionally, users can create widgets out of the search features and deploy them on their websites.
