Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice To Address the U.S.-Palestinian Public-Private Partnership Promoting Economic and Educational Opportunities for the Palestinian People

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will address the U.S.-Palestinian Public-Private Partnership Promoting Economic and Educational Opportunities for the Palestinian Peopleat 12:15 p.m., on Monday, December 3, 2007, at the Aspen Institute, One Dupont Circle, NW, Washington, DC. The Secretary will take questions from the audience after her remarks.

The event is part of the day-long first session of a U.S.-Palestinian public-private partnership to support educational and economic opportunities for the Palestinian people. Participants will include business and civic leaders, policy experts, and officials from the Department of State, Department of Treasury, Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and other government agencies, who will work with Palestinian and Israeli leaders in business and government.

Secretary Rice's remarks will be pooled for cameras. Media need to be prepared to show press credentials and a photo id.
