Under Secretary of State Hughes to Travel to the United Kingdom and Austria

Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Karen P. Hughes will travel to London, U.K., and Salzburg, Austria, November 6-8, to make a series of speeches on public diplomacy.

Under Secretary Hughes will address the International Public Relations Association annual conference on Tuesday, November 6, and hold meetings with the United Kingdom Public Diplomacy Board.

In Salzburg, she will participate in the Salzburg Global Seminar "Breaking The Glass Ceiling: Women in Politics and Business" on Wednesday, November 7. In addition, she will meet with the American Austrian Foundation.
