Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Indian Minister of External Affairs Pranab Mukherjee to Sign the U.S.-India Civilian Nuclear Cooperation Agreement

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Indian Minister of External Affairs Pranab Mukherjee will sign the U.S.-India Agreement for Cooperation Concerning Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy (123 Agreement) on Friday, October 10 at 4:00 p.m. in the Benjamin Franklin Room of the U.S. Department of State.

This event will be open for press coverage.

Pre-set time for cameras: 2:45from 23rd Street Entrance
Final access time for all press: 3:30 from the 23rd Street Entrance

Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) a U.S. government-issued identification card (State Department, White House, Congress, Defense Department, Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identity card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by official photo identification (driver’s license or passport).
