Saudi Arabia: Deputy Secretary Armitage Meeting With Saudi Advisor

Question: Can you comment on Deputy Secretary Armitage's meeting with Adel Jubair, Foreign Affairs Advisor to Saudi Crown Prince? What was discussed?

Answer: Deputy Secretary Armitage met today with Adel Jubair, Foreign Affairs Advisor to Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah, to discuss the international campaign against terrorism, and the broad spectrum of bilateral and regional issues between us.

Saudi Arabia is a close friend and supporter in the effort to combat international terrorism, and we welcome this opportunity to continue our ongoing discussions regarding our mutual efforts.
