Overseas Schools Advisory Council Meeting Thursday, January 19, 2006

The Overseas Schools Advisory Council of the Department of State will hold its Executive Committee Meeting on Thursday, January 19, 2006, at 9:30 a.m. in Conference Room 1105. The meeting will last until approximately 1:00 p.m. and is open to the public. The agenda includes a review of the recent activities of American-sponsored overseas schools and the overseas schools regional associations, a review of projects selected for the 2004 and 2005 Educational Assistance Programs, which are under development, and selection of projects for the 2006 Educational Assistance Program. Public access to the Department of State is strictly controlled and space is limited. Members of the public who would like to attend the meeting should telephone Dr. Keith Miller, Director of the Office of Overseas Schools at (202) 261-8200 by January 9, 2006, to make arrangements to enter the building. The pubic may take part in the discussion as long as time permits and at the discretion of the chairman.
