Occupational Safety and Health Administration Performance Report Fiscal Year 1996

The Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) of 1993 requires federal agencies to submit to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a strategic plan for program activities, and directs each agency to prepare an annual performance plan and to submit annual performance reports that review the success of achieving performance goals for the fiscal year.

Part One of this document comprises the Occupational Safety and Health Adminstration's (OSHA's) FY 1996 Performance Report submitted under GPRA. Part Two of the report presents a detailed analysis of OSHA's FY 1996 Agency performance measures or indicators (primary outcome, intermediate outcome, and activity measures). It provides a description of each measure, relevant definitions, analysis of the data, and supporting figures and tables. The report presents and analyzes data from Fiscal Years 1994 through 1996.
